This Privacy Policy explains how Starkle Jewels Private Limited ("Starkle", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit starkle.in (the "Site"), shop with us online, contact us, or visit our store.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, billing and shipping addresses, order details, ring or bracelet sizes, and anything you share when you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media, or visit our store.

Order and payment information: details of what you buy, returns, exchanges and refunds, and the bank details you share with us for a refund. Card, UPI and net-banking payments are processed by our payment partners; we do not see or store your full card number.

Device and browsing information: when you use the Site we automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, the pages and products you view, how you arrived at the Site, and how you interact with it. We collect this using:
- Cookies: small data files stored on your device. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
- Log files: records of activity on the Site, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
- Pixels and tags: small pieces of code, including the Meta (Instagram/Facebook) pixel and Google Analytics, that tell us how you use the Site and how our advertising performs.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To process, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle returns, exchanges, refunds, repairs and lifetime exchange requests
- To issue invoices and certificates, and to meet our tax, hallmarking and other legal obligations
- To contact you about your order by email, SMS, phone or WhatsApp
- To answer your questions and resolve complaints
- To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
- To send you offers, new arrivals and updates, where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time (see "Your choices" below).

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business, with:
- Shopify, which hosts our online store (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy)
- Our checkout and payment partners, who process your payments
- Courier and logistics partners, who deliver your orders and collect returns
- Customer messaging and marketing tools we use to send order updates and, with your consent, marketing messages by WhatsApp, email and SMS
- Our returns platform, when you register a return or exchange
- Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the Site is used (opt out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook), for advertising and measuring ad performance
- Government authorities, courts or regulators, where required by law, or where needed to protect our rights

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. We work only with providers who protect your information.

ADVERTISING
We use your browsing activity on the Site to show you relevant Starkle ads on other platforms, mainly Instagram. You can manage or turn off personalised ads here:

YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons
- Withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time: unsubscribe from our emails, or write to us
- Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (details below)

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep order, invoice and payment records for as long as the law requires, including for tax and accounting purposes. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or until you ask us to delete it where the law allows.

SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it.

CHILDREN
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or to the law. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
